The World Needs You Now!

In a period when there appears to be chaos all over the world. The cry for a saviour has broken the current decibel record. Passionate wail has overthrown the regular groan and moan we used to be accustomed to. People have refused to take seize the initiative and take the world by a storm during this trying time. Rather we have subconsciously transformed ourselves into zombies for fools' sake. We have folded our hands and refused to set it to work and reset things to our taste.

I have always held this thought that for us to thrive and overcome this period, we need to get up and stand out Not just that alone, one needs to live above the abnormality the world currently exudes, dare to stand out and carve a niche. Else, one risks being swept away by the incessant flood of abnormality.

Just at the right time, I stumbled on this awesome post by budding Fashion Blogger, Communication Consultant, Creative Writer and Content Specialist - one of the best Nigeria currently has at her disposal -, Jordan Abiola. Please read below.

"We are currently living in a world where things are changing in seconds! What you "think" is right doesn't seem to be so anymore because we are all just following each other. We are following each other so blindly that we have no idea of our own selves anymore. We have no personal standards, no personal morals, nor values, nor ethics, nor norms, nor traits, nor culture!
We don't even know what is right anymore nor what is wrong. We just take everything in, hook, line and sinker!
But there are the very few people that aren't followers - they are the abnormal, the weirdos (and I don't mean this in the way you dress or the way you appear - I'm mean this in your school of thoughts, your ideology and your thought process) , and these people are going to lead because they don't deem it fit to follow blindly. They are their own voices and they aren't afraid to let anyone know who they are - THESE PEOPLE are the ones I'm talking to today! Keep going, keep pushing, the world will try to drown you because they are scared of what you carry - and it's a spiritual thing - because you get confused and you check and recheck to see if you're actually doing something wrong.
Don't get carried away by what you read, watch, see or hear. In the depth of your heart, you know what is standard right and what is wrong. Please don't get caught up in all of these brainwash and mess!
So GUIDE your energy, your space, your emotional and mental state, and have a personal relationship with your CREATOR.
The world is changing even more rapidly than we know it is - and you are very important but you don't know it. And the world will definitely need you in the long run and would grovel at your feet soon, because you'll proffer solutions to her problems!
But in the mean time, she will try everything within her power to bring you down, to drown you. Please just focus. Focus! Focus!
