7 Effortless Ways That Guarantee Success with Minimal Risk

“Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all.” ― Helen Keller. You can either stay put and live a normal life or break the norm and do the extraordinary. And to do the extraordinary, you need to create an irregularity from a regularity. How can you do that?

These outlines should help you out.

1.) Rebrand Your Game

Study what smart people did to succeed and develop your own prototype. There's nothing new under the sun, especially in this 21st Century. Usually, achievement isn't rocket science. All you need is to analyse what you have to do to achieve your goal. What do you have in common with the person who has already attained a goal similar to yours? What else do you need to have or need to change about yourself? What obstacles are in your way and how can you overcome them? What are the ingredients to be added to make your contribution unparalleled?

The key to success is following someone else's example while making your own contribution unique.

2) Believe

Believe is the foundation to success. Like we all know that a structure built on a weak foundation will eventually collapse. Likewise, a project embarked on with an inconcrete believe system. Why start up a project or work towards a goal when you are not sure you will accomplish it?

You need to get convinced and be convicted that whatever you want to set out to do is the best way to go.  Anything done with a shabby belief system is already doomed to fail.

3) Eliminate Fear

Fear is simply the absence of courage. It takes a courageous man to set out on a daunting task. Especially one he's never done before. Courage, believe and risk goes side by side. David in the bible was courageous enough to face Goliath. The risk involved was a potential crushing defeat and death at the hands of the strong and mighty Goliath. We all know how the story ended. David defeated Goliath with the help of a strong belief system in Almighty God and Isreal got free from oppression. Lose any of courage and believe and whatever you want to do is not worth risking.

4) Be Resolute

Giving up is the easiest thing to do when the going gets tough. But it's not always the best thing.

I may not know what exactly is your botheration is but I know you are not alone in this world. Most people you can think of in the society, your immediate environment or the world at large, have encountered and scaled through similar curves. Maybe life has given you 1000 and 1 reasons to give up. Good jobs, great assets, and other lovely things of life are all there for the grabbing. And you'll do yourself no favour if your confidence start dwindling. Let out your oars and keep rowing, do not lower you sail in stormy times. Doing that only presents a greater chance of getting shipwrecked.  Take the bold step and put in your best for that incredibly difficult task you’ve always want to do. Trying takes you a step above the probability of failing.

5) Seize Opportunity

The world might appear simple judging by the technology advancement today. But the truth is that some facets of life are yet to be touched. At times, what we need is just to proffer a(n) (un)common solution to a situation. Maybe the breakthrough you need is tied to that common thing everyone overlooks. Perhaps, that insignificant thing people pay less detail to is what will catapult you to the next level. Successful people are those who do ordinary things in extraordinary ways.

Let me buttress my point a little bit. Have you been to any branch of Zenith bank Nigeria? If yes, do you ever notice how funny their counter looks? So high like the infamous walls of Jericho, shey? With glass mirror everywhere like a fashion house. And you felt like, oh please! Good!

A young Nigerian graduate visited a branch of Zenith bank one day and noticed how low their counter is. If you are familiar with the height of the old Zenith Bank counter, you'd know that it used to be barely shoulder-high. He picked an interest and sent a mail to the founder of Zenith bank Jim Ovia. He explained in details on how vulnerable they are to robbery attacks with such a low counter. Then he demanded a meeting to explain better and of course proffer solution. The rest is history.

Some argued that the high counter will disfavour people with short height and prevent the bank cashier from seeing the customers. Then the extended solution was improved on. The counter was made averagely high and mirrors were installed in the banking hall so that the cashier can see the customers while attending to them. Oh yea, now you know that those fancy mirrors you find in their banks isn't for decoration but to serve a specific purpose.

I need not tell you more about the guy who conceived this great idea. I'm sure you have the faintest idea of what became of him afterwards.

6) Work Hard and Be Adventurous

Strife harder than normal to ensure your dreams are realised. Once you've itemised your goals and you're convinced about it. Then give it your best shot. Work hard and well enough to shapen your goals towards actualization - even when things are going awry. Remember, no guts, no glory.

7) Celebrate small victory

The power to do more is locked up in the everyday victory we achieve. Celebrating small victories will spur you up to become better and achieve more. The passion and joy derived from a victorious celebration will uphold you when faced with difficulties as you wouldn’t want to lose such moments to the pangs of failure.

“You can’t outwit fate by standing on the sidelines placing little side bets about the outcome of life. Either you wade in and risk everything you have to play the game or you don’t play at all. And if you don’t play you can’t win.”
-  Judith McNaught
